Encinitas E-Bike Repair ("we", "us") is a mobile e-bike and e-moto repair service based in Encinitas, California. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and when we work on your bike, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect

We don't use advertising trackers, sell your information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Form service (Formspree), which delivers booking requests to our inbox.
- Payment apps (Apple Pay, Venmo or Zelle, depending on how you pay), which handle the transfer.
- Website host, which serves these pages.
- Google Fonts, which delivers the site's typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address to Google.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Texts and calls
When you send a request, we'll call or text you about that repair: quotes, scheduling, arrival times and follow-ups. We don't send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting you. Message and data rates may apply.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This site doesn't set cookies or use analytics. Because we don't track you across websites, there is nothing for a browser's Do Not Track signal to switch off; we treat every visitor the same way whether or not it's sent.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests that don't turn into a job for 12 months. We keep customer and repair records for up to 4 years for warranty, tax and accounting purposes, then delete them.
Security
This site uses HTTPS. Customer records are kept in password-protected accounts that only we can access. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information like card numbers by text or email.
Your California privacy rights
California residents can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you and how we've used it
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your information, unless we have to keep it (for example, tax records)
We don't sell or share personal information as California law defines it, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll confirm it's you by checking the phone number or email on file, and respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Riders under 18 should have a parent or guardian book and approve repairs.
Reviewing or changing your information
Text, call or email us to see, update or delete what we have on file.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we'll tell existing customers by text or email.
